Radio Composite - Proposals
24 January, 2025
Radio Composite Proposals Form
Radio Composite invite proposals for regular or one-off broadcasts, live performances, events, or creative projects. Radio Composite champions experimental work that bridges art, music, and sound-based exploration.
Your proposal could be for:
- Soundscapes, music, or sound art—whether for live events or on-air broadcasts.
- Conversations or documentary-style content—programming that dives into contemporary cultural, social, or urgent topics of our time.
- Explorations of radio as a creative platform—projects that might include live performances, text-based works, or experimental approaches to audio storytelling and publishing.
Before submitting your idea, here are a few key things to know:
- Budget: Unfortunately, we cannot provide funding for projects. However, for live music events, ticketing may be used to help compensate artists and performers.
- Volunteer-Run: Our team is made up entirely of volunteers. We kindly ask for your patience as response times may vary.
- Where We Are: Radio Composite operates from the Brunswick Mechanics Institute, a historic site dating back to 1868. Once a community library, it is now home to Next Wave, an organisation dedicated to nurturing early-career artists across disciplines.
How We Review Proposals
Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis. While we do our best to respond promptly, it may take some time to process applications. Thank you for your understanding and interest in contributing to Radio Composite!
